Who am I?
I'm Colin, a Scottish guy who was born in Germany then moved to Northern Ireland and finally settled in England.
A lifelong obsession with tapping and hitting things with sticks lead me to become a drummer which allowed me to play all over the country and have some amazing experiences. In between the music I studied Psychology to fulfil my insatiable curiosity to understand our thoughts, actions and the reasoning behind them.
I then gravitated towards the world of UX where I found I could scratch my creative itch with design and my curiosity for understanding with research. The combination of these two elements along with the sheer variety of problems out there to be solved makes me incredibly excited to be a part of the design landscape and to hopefully provide solutions that can make a genuine impact on the world.

Here is a simplified look at the processes I generally use, obviously these steps are cyclical, interchangeable and iterative but this is a snapshot of the general structure and techniques I employ during a project.
